Calvin Harris has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a serious car accident on Friday evening.
Calvin Harris has been forced to cancel a string of gigs after being injured in a car crash in Los Angeles.
The DJ and producer -who is in a relationship with Taylor Swift- real name Adam Wiles - was rushed to hospital after the car he was travelling in was struck by another vehicle, driven by a 16-year old woman,as he made his way to LAX Airport
The 32-year-old Scottish star, who was on his way to the airport to play a gig in Las Vegas, was taken to a hospital in LA after he suffered a laceration to the face.
Sources told US website TMZ: “Calvin was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV at around 11 PM when a VW Bug convertible driven by a 16-year-old girl crossed the center line, crashing into his vehicle.
According to TMZ, the How Deep Is Your Love hit-maker suffered a laceration on his face and was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles. He was forced to cancel a scheduled show on Friday before later pulling out of his headline slot at Alabama's Hangout Music Fest on Saturday.
Law enforcement sources reportedly told the outlet that Calvin was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV when a Volkswagen Beetle convertible crossed the centre line and crashed into the vehicle he was riding in.
It's claimed the impact was so severe that the Beetle, which was allegedly filled with teenagers, saw one young woman ejected from the lap of her boyfriend.
But despite sustaining acute injuries, it's alleged Calvin left the hospital 'against medical advice' after he was told there were no private rooms available.

MailOnline has contacted Calvin's representatives for comment.
The driver of the colliding vehicle, as well as one other passenger, are also believed to have been taking to hospital for treatment, with the latter reportedly suffering a broken pelvis.
Understandably Calvin has been forced to cancel his upcoming shows, with a message on his official Facebook page reading:
“Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.” - Calvin HQ.'
TMZ later reported that Calvin has been forced to cancel his headline performance at Hangout Fest in Alabama on Saturday night due to his injuries.
The Twitter account for the festival posted on Saturday: 'Calvin Harris is unable to perform tonight. All of us at Hangout wish him and everyone involved in last night's collision a speedy recovery. '
Panic! At the Disco, were were scheduled to perform before Calvin moved into the headline slot, tweeting before their show: 'Wishing all involved in last night’s accident a speedy recovery and hope we do you proud, Calvin.'
