Firstly, he’s set to produce an adaptation of the graphic novel Son Of Shaolin, that’s being set up over as Sony. The graphic novel was written and created by Jay Longino, and right now, Johnson’s involvement is purely in a producing capacity. However, there’s already a suggestion that he’ll appear on-screen as well.
Moreover, it’s also being suggested that Universal wants him for its upcoming reboot of The Wolf Man. The studio is busy setting up its classic monsters movie universe, and Johnson is reportedly high on the list for The Wolf Man, presumably in the title role. Whether he can actually fit it in remains to be seen.
