Photos, videos, GIFs, polls, and Quote Tweets no longer count as part of the 140 characters on Twitter

The official Twitter account shared the news in a post on its popular social media service, announcing that the change is "rolling out now," whereby "photos, videos, GIFs, polls, and Quote Tweets no longer count toward your 140 characters."

Hence Twitter users can now share more.
